Volunteer Participation

Motse Wa Badiri Camphill benefits greatly from the work of volunteers. As the community expands the tendency and intention is to employ local people to fill administrative and management roles; however, at present, volunteers remain at the core of coordination and decision making within Motse Wa Badiri Camphill.

Volunteers receive board and accommodation and a monthly pocket money. Any special needs or expenses are discussed and agreed at the weekly coordinating committee meeting. These might include; personal expenses, medical, special travel, or education. The volunteer is directly accountable to Motse Wa Badiri for these expenses.
