Parent - Teacher Consultation
In keeping with the Ministry of Education policy of involving parents in the management of schools as well as the provision of the school mission statement, parent-techer consultation is encouraged and promoted in the school.
Parent meetings are held at least once a term and all parents whose children attend this school are invited. It is at these meetings that policy matters are discussed with parents and school progress reported. Parents and teachers may also reach certain decisions and make resolutions regarding school activities. Such resolutions and decisons would then be binding on all parents irrespective of whether they attended the meetings which resulted in such decisions and resolutions being made or not.
Furthermore parents are urged to take advantage of the school's open door policy and consult the school whenever the need arises on all matters relevant to the activities of the school. However, such consultations should be restricted to official working hours.
