HTML has a range of formatting tags which affect how text appears on a web page. It is possible to define these styles using the Style box on the toolbar (shown below). Text to be defined has to be selected with the mouse and then the selected style is chosen from the drop down list in the Style box. These styles are useful as they are displayed in the same way by all browsers.
