|With Internet Assistant it is not actually necessary to know much about HTML code as Word inserts all the tags and code invisibly within the document. However, it is also possible to view and edit the code if you need to.
This can be done by selecting the HTML Source command on the View menu as shown on the right. Before you can switch to this HTML view you need to save any changes to the HTML document. You will then be able to view all the HTML code. The three examples below show a simple web page in Word WYSIWYG mode, HTML Source mode and as displayed in a web browser.
From the three examples above you can see how text and formatting
in Word are converted into complex tags and code in HTML which
display in a web browser as a simple web page.
