A standard web page consists of a collection of text, images and
multimedia. A web page can be viewed in a browser
such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. The picture below
shows a typical example of a web page viewed in Internet Exporer.
This page is an HTML file named CHILD~1.HTM which in this case
has been saved on the D: hard drive of a computer. The images
on the page are separate graphics files which are linked to the
web page.
