ACCA COURSESBAC offers ACCA courses every six months, preparing students for the June and December Examination Diets. Part 1Because all our students are exempt from papers 1.1 and 1.2, BAC offers only paper 1.3 at Part 1 together with papers 2.1 and 2.2 at Part 2. This course (AAT conversion course) is offered every six months,on a full time basis, starting in February and August. Part 2 BAC runs 'Link Courses' for the remainder of the Part 2 papers. These courses , Link course 1 (papers 2.3 and 2.4) and Link Course 2 (papers 2.5 and 2.6) operate as follows:
Part 3 (Optional) The difficulty of these exams at this level means that we beleive the best way to tackle the exams is by means of a full time period of study. We offer a full time course for the TWO optional papers 3.1 and 3.4 (papers 3.2 and 3.3 are not offered at BAC). This course (Full time course 1)is offered twice a year and commences after the results from Part 2 exams are known in February and August. Part 3 (Core) BAC offers all three papers 3.5, 3.6 and 3.7 on a full time basis. This course (Full-time Course 2) is offered every six months starting in January and July. Revision Courses All courses finish with an in-built two/three week full time revision course. Variants BAC only offeres the Botswana Law (paper 2.2) and Botswana Tax (paper 2.3) variants. BAC also offers only the International Accounting and auditing streams for papers 2.5, 2.6, 3.1 and 3.6. Oxford Brookes University/ ACCA degree Starting from July 2002 BAC will be offering the OBU/ACCA Asc degree in Applied Accounting. This will apply to students who have completed PArt 2 of the ACCA course and they are elligible to write the Oxford Brookes research paper. BAC will provide a mentor and supervise students during their research. BAC will offer this ervice during the period between writing the last Part2 exams and enrolling on the full time Part 3 course. This is the period students will be waiting for their Part 2 results. |
