Masters programmes under SACCAR
The Southern African Center for Co-operation in Agricultural and Natural Resources Research and Training (SACCAR) invites applications for admission into the Msc degree programme in Agricultural Economics, at University of Zimbabwe, Harare. The Msc programme lasts for two academic years: the first year is devoted to course work and the second to research and thesis preparation.
Admission requirements
Admission into the programme normally requires a minimum of a second class (lower division)/credit Bachelors degree or its equivalent.
The programme
The objective of the programme is to provide qualified candidates with applied economic concepts and analytical skills entailing identifying, analysing and interpreting economic problems affecting the performance of the agriculture, food and natural resources sectors in SADC. The programme is open to students with a background in agriculture and related degrees with course work and/or specialisation in Agricultural Economics or B.Sc. Economics with course work and experience in agriculture.
