Masters programmes under SACCAR
The Southern African Center for Co-operation in Agricultural and Natural Resources Research and Training (SACCAR) invites applications for admission into the Msc degree programme in Animal Science, at Bunda College, Lilongwe. The Msc programme lasts for two academic years: the first year is devoted to course work and the second to research and thesis preparation.
Admission requirements
Admission into the programme normally requires a minimum of a second class (lower division)/credit Bachelors degree or its equivalent.
The programme
The major focus of the programme is on livestock farming in the smallholder sector. Its objective is to produce graduates who are more conversant with scientific principles and practical aspects of animal production. Students with a background in agriculture, animal science and veterinary science are eligible to apply.
