The 'then' Honourable Minister of Education, Mr. George Kgoroba, speaking on the occasion of the joint commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of Legae Academy and 20th Anniversary of Legae English Medium Primary School.

Established in 1992 as a coeducational independent secondary school, over the past dozen years Legae Academy has achieved an international reputation for providing its students with access to a world class education at an affordable price. Its fees have been kept substantially lower than other quality private schools. This has been possible notwithstanding the fact that the Academy has not sought sponsorship by corporations, embassies or other external donors, allowing it to admit qualified applicants on a first come first served basis.
