BAC runs Insurance Institute Of South Africa Courses (IISA).What is IISA?The Insurance institute of South Africa has been modeled on the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and is affiliated to that body. It is the recognized educational body of the insurance industry in the region.The activities of IISA include conducting professional insurance examinations and the awarding diplomas and certificates to successful students. These qualification enjoy immense prestige in the industry. The examination is structured around five levels:
What type of IISA courses do BAC run ?CoP (Life insurance marketing).This subject has been modified to reflect the requirements of Botswana legislation. In 2001 BAC would run courses for the two sittings of IISA examinations in March and September. The courses would be on full time basis, three days per week days per weeks (for the September sitting).
Entry RequirementsIn order to enroll for CoP courses at BAC an applicant should- Have a division three GCSE. - Be at least 21 years of age.
